The celebrations commenced with a few songs by the school’s Hindi choir, that depicted the childhood and formative years of lord Krishna. Everyone was mesmerized by their melodious singing. Finally, the much awaited competitions kicked off, with tremendous zeal and enthusiasm. The first contest held was the “Shlokas Competition” in which one student from each house had to recite Sanskrit phrases and further, explain the meaning in the most simplified and comprehensive manner. From Deodar House, Sakshi Kumari; Gulmohar House, Deeksha Kumari; Rudraksh House, Somya Bhutani and Amaltas House, Tripty Kiran took part. All the contestants impressed the jury members as well as the audience, in their own unique way. After a spellbinding presentation, the last event took place which was the group song, where 15 students from each house  sang bhajans in perfect harmony with the beat of tabla. All present thoroughly enjoyed the enchanting bhajans, sung by the four houses. Foremost, Deodar House performed with Shilpy on the dholak , then Amaltas house sung  adding ‘sargam’ followed by Gulmohar and Rudraksh, with their equally scintillating performances.

After the competitions, the ‘aarti’ took place when the whole school unitedly recited bhajans and offered prayers to lord Krishna.
